We add 9% of Goji berries and 9% of decorticated buckwheat to the 80% dark chocolate. The resulting unique taste derives from the softness of the berries and an extraordinary crunchy effect from the raw buckwheat grains. Besides the taste, the Goji berries contain beta-carotene, iron, VitaminC (the quantity of which is 400/500 times higher than in oranges) and many other anttioxidant nutrients. The buckwheat instead, is considered the best ‘cereal’ because it protects the capillary and blood vessels as well as contains the highest amount of poliphenol antioxidants among cereals.

Cacao Crudo is the first firm in Italy to produce raw chocolate. The idea comes from Daniele Dell’Orco, anthropologist and researcher in the food sector and in the consevation and protection of agricultural and wildlife biodiversity. During his many journeys and studies abroad, Daniele learns about the incredible benefits that raw cacao/ chocolate has for the health. Once back in Italy, he decides to start production but he adds something that in his opinion was missing in the majority of the raw chocolate that he had tasted till then: the passion for the most refined taste. The challenge was to produce chocolate that is at the same time healthy and gourmet, made of top quality organic ingredients coming from a transparent and fair supply chain. In other words, a project shaped on a sustainable and ethical approach around food.
